We successfully transformed a standard MacBook into a touch-responsive device using basic hardware components worth approximately one dollar and sophisticated visual computing techniques. Our experimental prototype, named "Project Sistine" in homage to our digital reinterpretation of the renowned Sistine Chapel artwork, was collaboratively developed by Kevin, Guillermo, Logan, and myself within approximately sixteen hours.
